I have been spending quite a bit of time on my serger - re-working many of my old garments. All part of my quest for "Sewing Green". I have been using My Label Software
(BERNINA's new pattern making software - free trail download link below.)

NOT to create new garments from scratch - but to make NEW, better fitting clothes from my older garments - or - buying larger sized garments and re-cutting them to fit me perfectly. Using my own custom made patterns! Cool!

I also have linked the Pamelas Pattern website - She sells a T-Shirt pattern to do the same thing with large shirts. Think about re-cutting interesting garments found inexpensively in dicount stores.
